Pot of Gold – By Jo Solo
Jimmy’s Story
One day, Jimmy’s mom told him that there is a pot of
gold at the end of the rainbow.
For days Jimmy wondered about the pot of gold.
Jimmy decided that he wanted to find the pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow.
Jimmy wondered
how he would get up to the rainbow.
Jimmy took a
wind sail and cut it into a square, big enough to cover his whole body.
Jimmy
also cut some thin rope and weaved it in the holes of the wind sail.
After weaving the thin rope into the wind sail, Jimmy put on his fastest running shoes. Jimmy tied the ends of the thin rope around his palms and walked outside.
There is a
light wind blowing outside, which is perfect for Jimmy to fly up into the sky
with his wind sail.
Jimmy takes a walk to the park. He breathes in and out and begins to run slowly and then real fast. In no time Jimmy’s wind sail lifts him up off the ground.
The rainbow is
in sight. A gentle breeze blows Jimmy’s wind sail up and top of the
rainbow.
Jimmy is
finally on top of the rainbow. He lets go of the wind sail and slides down the
rainbow to get to the pot of gold.
Jimmy is so
excited. He goes…
weeeeeeeeeeee weeeeeeeeeeee as he slides down the rainbow.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee
weeeeeeeeeeee!
Jimmy slides
down and into the pot of gold. Jimmy is happy.
